What ShowMargin collects
ShowMargin stores account identity, seller settings, connected-marketplace identifiers, authorized marketplace data, live-show records, orders, fees, shipping, refunds, payouts, inventory costs and sync history needed to provide profit analytics.
Beta requests
If you join the beta list, ShowMargin stores your account email, selling platforms, approximate monthly order volume, the problem you want help with, your proposed-plan preference, and the time you agreed to beta-related contact. The founder can review these answers and use your email to follow up about ShowMargin beta testing. Joining does not authorize unrelated course marketing or start a subscription. Your request is retained until you remove it from the beta page or request deletion through support. Removing it also withdraws permission for future beta-related contact. Seller workspace records are managed separately.
Marketplace authorization
ShowMargin uses official authorization flows. We do not request or store marketplace passwords. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted and used only to provide requested syncing features.
How information is used
Information is used to connect seller accounts, import authorized records, calculate business metrics, prevent duplicate transactions, troubleshoot syncing and protect the service. ShowMargin does not sell personal information.
Data sharing and retention
Data is shared with service providers only when required to operate and secure ShowMargin, or when required by law. Marketplace information is retained while an account is connected and as needed to maintain the seller’s requested reporting history. Sellers may disconnect a marketplace and request deletion of their stored data.
Security and choices
ShowMargin uses account isolation, encrypted marketplace tokens and limited authorization scopes. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Sellers may revoke marketplace access from the marketplace itself and stop future synchronization at any time.
Free trial
When you choose to start a trial, ShowMargin saves its start and end time against your account. The trial lasts 7 days, is available once per account, requires no card, and never automatically starts a paid subscription. Trial expiry pauses financial edits; your saved records remain readable and exportable. Account deletion requests are handled through support.
Accounts, storage and billing
Current sign-in is provided through ChatGPT. ShowMargin is preparing email-and-password sign-in through Supabase; it remains unavailable until delivery and account-access checks are complete. When enabled, Supabase processes your email, password authentication, verification/recovery emails, and authentication events. ShowMargin does not store your password. ShowMargin stores an essential secure session cookie, encrypted provider tokens, and a verified identity link to your existing seller account. Email sign-in does not move your seller records to Supabase. Account identity and seller records are stored in the hosted service and Cloudflare D1, not browser storage. A separate sample page uses fictional data and does not add records to your account. When subscriptions open, Stripe handles hosted checkout and payment details. ShowMargin stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, status, billing periods and processed webhook identifiers; it does not receive or store card numbers.
Support and deletion requests
Visit ShowMargin support to request account help, export guidance or deletion. Support is handled by the same operator as The Reselling Blueprint, but the products are purchased separately. Ownership must be verified before account deletion. Revoking marketplace access stops future authorized requests; it does not erase your saved reporting history automatically. Do not send credentials or card details to support.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated as ShowMargin adds marketplaces or changes how data is processed. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
